Smith Family Reunion 2013 – Family of Families

Mark your calendars to participate in the Smith Family Reunion on August 3 & 4 2013.

This reunion will be a wonderful gathering of our Smith families. We plan to surpass the Guinness World Record for the largest family reunion. Currently, the largest family reunion is 2,585 and was achieved by the Lilly family at Flat Top, West Virginia, on August 9, 2009. To have thousands of family members will require help from many. Here’s what we request:

• Plan to gather your families for a reunion on Friday, August 2, 2013, then plan to join the large reunion on Saturday.
• If you live in the Salt Lake area please consider hosting families from outside the area.
• We have several families that are interested in participating but could use some travel and lodging assistance. If you are willing to help, please let us know and we will provide you with more information.
• Send us any ideas that you may have to make this reunion large and successful.
• Review your contact information above and send an update if needed.
• Forward this email to family members and make sure they send us their contact information.
• Discuss the reunion at your family gatherings.

A Review of the 2011 Smith Family Reunion

During the Kirtland reunion the family not only learned of our ancestors but became acquainted with each other. This was a wonderful chance to learn about and enjoy our diversities.
