Emma Smith: My Story is a fascinating look at the embryonic years of the Mormon Church from the perspective an aging Emma, played by Patricia Place. Katherine Nelson stars as the younger Emma and Nathan Mitchell stars as Joseph.

Cinematographer, T.C. Christiansens signature is all over this movie delivering a rich, authentic feel and the performances are outstanding. Emma Smith: My Story is touching, insightful and provides a perspective that is long overdue. I thoroughly enjoyed this film, Emma Smith: My Story is rated PG and I’m giving it 3 stars.
